New Petrol, Diesel Prices announced in Pakistan for second half of October 2024

ISLAMABAD — The federal government raised the price of high-speed diesel by Rs5 per liter, while price of petrol remain steady at Rs247.03 per liter for second half of October 2024.

This adjustment reflects small increase in fuel products but is linked to escalating international market rates and a change in profit of OMCs.

Prices were changed after five price reductions, in wake of recent increases of about $2.80 and $7 per barrel in global market. The average international petrol price is now nearly $79 per barrel, while diesel soared to around $87.50.
