The National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) has refuted the claims made by former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan that PTI workers, especially females, are being treated badly in prisons.
According to sources, not a single allegation made by Imran has been proven in the report submitted by the commission’s Chairperson Rabia Javeri to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
A letter also accompanies the report in which Rabia says that the NCHR started investigations after reports of torture on PTI workers in prisons and jails came to light.—NNI
