Consul General of Qatar in Karachi, Nayef Alsulaiti, extended heartfelt congratulations on the National Day of Qatar, celebrating the visionary leadership and progress of the nation.
In his message, he conveyed his felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the entire Qatari nation. He expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and support provided by the Government and people of Pakistan, underscoring the longstanding bond between the two brotherly nations.
“The brotherly countries of Qatar and Pakistan have long enjoyed cordial ties premised on common faith, aspirations, and an intertwined national narrative,” he stated, highlighting the robust relations reinforced by leadership visits, high-level delegations, and expanding trade relations. Reflecting on Qatar’s National Day, Alsulaiti emphasized the country’s founding ideals and visionary reforms.
“It commemorates the founder of the State of Qatar, who consolidated national rule with the support of the Qatari people,” he noted. He praised the nation’s progress under its leaders, citing Qatar’s achievements in economic growth, human development, and scientific innovation, alongside its advocacy for global education. CG Alsulaiti also lauded Pakistan’s resilience and ability to overcome challenges, stating, “Pakistan exemplifies the saying of rising like a phoenix from the ashes. Its strength and resilience have defied detractors, achieving remarkable growth and development.”
Alsulaiti expressed optimism about the future, saying, “I am confident that the unique bilateral ties between Pakistan and Qatar will flourish further, strengthened by the bonds of brotherhood.”
