Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said that the opposition’s conspiracy to make institutions controversial has badly failed. “Instead it has back fired the opposition will have to suffer its repercussions.” The CM said it is regrettable that the opposition first tried to do politics on Coronavirus and then started giving statements against institutions which is condemnable.
Usman Buzdar said, “The nation has rejected the opposition’s seditious narrative and sane people are standing by the institutions. Those who damaged Pakistan during their tenure now want to halt the national progress through anarchy.”
The chief minister claimed that the opposition leaders are working against the national unity and solidarity for personal interest and they should refrain from such negative politics.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in an explosion at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said the corona situation is being strictly monitored and there is no room for any negligence as an increase in the number of patients and death is observed.
The CM asserted observance of SOPs is imperative to overcome the second wave of the corona. The citizens should wear facemasks and maintain social distancing, he added.
Meanwhile, former Balochistan provincial minister Naseebullah Khan Marri and Punjab MPA Javed Akhtar Lund called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at civil secretariat on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the CM reiterated the development of Balochistan province is as important as that of Punjab adding that the Punjab government started several projects in Balochistan as a goodwill gesture. Meanwhile, PTI Central Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry and head of good governance committee Col. (R) Ejaz Hussain Manhais called on CM Usman Buzdar and discussed matters of mutual interest. They strongly condemned hooliganism at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi.
Meanwhile, an investors delegation of the UAE led by Sulaiman Al-Badaai called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar. Provincial Minister Finance Hashim Jawan Bakht, Chief Secretary, Chairman PBIT Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Secretary Finance and others were also present.
The CM apprised the delegation about investment-friendly policies and initiatives of the provincial govt and stated that all the facilities are provided under one roof. The CM assured the procedure of obtaining NOC has been made easy to promote investment and the investors should fully invest in Punjab to benefit from the conducive environment.
In speech, Sulaiman Al-Badaai expressed the desire to invest more in Pakistan, especially in the province of Punjab.
