Nasir seeks President Zardari’s support for solar projects

In a key meeting at the Presidential House, President Asif Ali Zardari and Sindh Minister for Energy and Planning and Development Syed NasirHussain Shah discussed advancing solar energy projects in Sindh.

During the meeting, Shah assured President Zardari that the Sindh government is committed to implementing effective measures to maximize the benefits of solar energy. Shah also sought Zardari’s assistance in addressing federal issues affecting Sindh, emphasizing the need for his intervention to resolve these challenges.

President Zardari reaffirmed his commitment to playing a crucial role in addressing issues between the federal government and all provinces, including Sindh. In addition, Shah provided President Zardari with an overview of Sindh’s energy projects, highlighting the provincial government’s efforts to promote solar energy.

He detailed the initiatives aimed at increasing reliance on solar power amid the current energy crisis. Zardari supported the push for enhanced solar energy adoption and was briefed on the performance of the Planning and Development Department in Sindh.
