A meeting of National Accountability Bureau (NABB) has disclosed that the injured in Mureed Abbas murder case; accused Atif Zaman was the mastermind of the whole plot of financial scam that was worth millions.
The meeting revealed that the accused of Abbass murder, Zaman had fraudulently duped the investors, lured them and thus manipulated the money. He had even attracted general public through deceitful means in his tyres business.
According to details, a meeting here at Karachi was held at the NAB Director General (DG) office on directives of NAB Chairman, Justice (retd.) Javed Iqbal and was presided over by the Karachi NAB DG Brig. (retd.) Farooque Naser Awan S.I. (M).
In this regard, a NAB handout read that the accused Zaman had allegedly defrauded general public by their hard earned money through ponzy schemes namely Zaid Enterprises and Infinity Import Solutions by offering attractive monthly returns, under the garb of investments in tyres, which involve a large number of people as victims/affectees.
