Muhammad Khan Bhatti granted bail in illegal recruitments case

LAHORE  – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday granted bail Muhammad Khan Bhatti in the illegal recruitment case.

Justice Sultan Tanvir of the Lahore High Court announced the reserved verdict regarding the alleged illegal recruitments in the Punjab Assembly.

The court  ordered to release Muhammad Khan Bhatti, the principal secretary to former Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.

During the hearing in the High Court yesterday, the arguments were presented by both the parties on Muhammad Khan Bhatti’s bail application in the alleged fake recruitment case in the Punjab Assembly.

After hearing arguments of both sides, the court had reserved the verdict.

Anti-Corruption Establishment  had registered a case against former Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and his principal secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti for illegal recruitments in the Punjab Assembly.

It may be mentioned here that on May 21, the Lahore High Court had approved Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s bail application in the same case and ordered his release from Kot Lakhpat Jail.
