MQM-Pakistan senior leader Dr Farooq Sattar has claimed that general elections will prove a public referendum for his party as Muttahida will take back its seats which were gifted to others in 2018.Talking to media after casting his vote in NA-241 here on Thursday, the MQM-Pakistan leader said time will tell who benefitted from mobile and internet disruptions in general election.
He urged Election Commission of Pakistan to restore the internet and mobile services. Farooq Sattar claimed that MQM-P will win 18NA and 40 provincial Assembly’s seats.MQM-P Dr Farooq Sattar, PTI-backed Khurram Sher Zaman, PPP Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Naveed Ali Baig, TLP Muhammad Waseem, PML-N Rozina, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party’s (IPP) Jairam Das, Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) Shaheena, Awami National Party’s (ANP) Owais Khan and others are contesting from NA 241 constituency.
The NA-241 Karachi South-III formerly NA-247 Karachi South-III comprises the Civil Line Sub-Division excluding cantonment areas, Karachi Cantonment, Clifton Cantonment, Saddar Sub-Division excluding Cantonment areas and Aram Bagh Sub-Division excluding Charge no 1 and 2 of District South.
