India under fascist Narendra Modi has become a dangerous place for the Muslims as they are facing attacks on their lives and properties across the country on a daily basis.
The RSS-inspired Bharatiya Janata Party government led by Narendra Modi has intoxicated the Hindu population with alarming levels of Hindutva mindset and Hindutva forces are deeming it a sacred duty to target Muslims’ lives and properties, said a report released, today, by Kashmir Media Service.
It said, Muslims are being attacked, humiliated and even murdered on one pretext or the other in Modi’s India. In latest violence against the religious minority, it said, Muslim men were tied to a pole and beaten with sticks by policemen in public glare in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The world human rights bodies, the Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch strongly denounced the incident. The Amnesty International termed the flogging of Muslim men by police in Gujarat as serious human rights violation showing utter disrespect towards the law. The Human Rights Watch said, Indian authorities are increasingly using summary and abusive punishments against Muslims. The HRW deplored that in several BJP ruled stated, Indian authorities have demolished Muslim homes and properties without legal authorization.
The KMS report said Muslims are being punished for their faith and culture in BJP-ruled India. Muslims are experiencing worse treatment at the hands of Hindutva forces than Jews faced under the Nazi regime. RSS, BJP followers are ideological equals of the Nazis. Modi’s fascist regime considers Muslims as second class citizens and they are being pushed to the wall by Hindu extremists,” it added.
The report maintained that the indiscriminate violence against Muslims has unmasked the so-called secular face of India. Systematic violence against Muslims in India by Modi regime proves that India is an extremist Hindu state, it said, adding that the world must come forward to rescue Muslims from Hindu fascism.—INP
