The 456 Model Courts set up to provide speedy justice and clear massive backlog of cases on Wednesday decided 468 cases.
Director General Supreme Court Monitoring Cell Sohail Nasir said, that 177 Model Criminal courts disposed of 83 cases including 25 cases of murder and 58 narcotics.
Similarly the 124 civil model courts decided 205 family and rent disputes while 155 model magistrates courts disposed of 180 cases.
The fine of Rs 6,198,166 was also imposed on various accused in different cases while statements of 617 witnesses were also recorded in different cases by all the model courts, he added. Death sentence was awarded to 2 while rigorous imprisonment was awarded to 5 accused.
