Staff Reporter Sindh Minister for Human Settlements and Special Development Ghulam Murtaza Baloch has said that Sindh Government believes in serving the masses irrespective of their political affiliation, however Federal Government has not released Rs.150 billion to Sindh Government and due to this certain numbers of development works have been affected. He was presiding over a meeting here in his office on Monday. On the occasion Executive Engineer KDA Rahat Faheem, Assistant Engineer Aziz Jumani and other officers were also present. The minister added, Pakistan People’s Party has done a lot of development works in Sindh and even opposition admit these Development Works ‘. Baloch said that repair work on roads in district Malir was in progress and the nullahs in the area would be cleared before the rainy season started. He also asked the Engineers to ensure smooth drainage of the sewerage water from the area and redress the problems on priority basis. He said that for the purpose he would also contact Local Government high-ups to resolve the issues of drainage, adding that development projects were being completed in order to facilitate the people.
