Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice-Chairman and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday pledged to address the concerns of the government employees. Maryam made this commitment in a meeting with All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGEGA) and political leaders. AGEGA delegation led by Chief Coordinator RehmanBajwa called on Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Tuesday. Maryam assured that she would fulfill the demands of the government employees.
Among the key points discussed were the payment of allowances in lieu of leaves, the cessation of salary discrimination, and comprehensive pension reforms.
Maryam while emphasized the importance of her family’s legacy in fulfilling promises said that the issues plaguing the government employees would be resolved without resorting to protests. She highligted the commitment outlined in the PML-N’s manifesto, which included proposals for salary increases aligned with inflation rates. Acknowledging the challenges faced by the government employees and salary-dependent segments of the society, the PML-N senior vice-president affirmed a dedication to finding sustainable solutions to their grievances. In response to Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s commitment, Rehman Bajwa and other delegation leaders expressed gratitude, heralding her assurances as a positive step towards resolving longstanding issues affecting the government employees.
