The 21-day Awami Theater Festival hosted by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi continued its winning streak with a stellar performance of “Manto Mera Dost” on its 19th day. Written by Anwar Jafri and directed by Sheema Kermani, the play masterfully explored the life and legacy of renowned writer Saadat Hasan Manto through the lens of his close friend, Ismat Chughtai. The cast, including Imran Khan, Tabitha, Shazia Adnan, Haris Khan, Shazia, and Naeem Khan, brought the poignant narrative to life.
