Man killed by Indian army firing in Jammu

A man has been killed in the firing by Indian army in Akhnoor area of Jammu region. According to Kashmir Meedia Service, Indian army, however, tried to hush up the matter by saying that the man was killed accidently. It said that the deceased entered the area earmarked for the firing drill of the Indian army and was caught in firing in Khour area of Akhnoor. Police have initiated a probe under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).

Meanwhile, two Indian troops died in two separate incidents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir,

An Indian Central Reserve Police Force man, Ravinder Kumar, was killed after being hit by a moving train in Sadura area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district.

Another Indian army man Kalki Sharma drowned in a canal while taking a bath nearby Magar Khand in Kathua district.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old Shahbaz Ahmad of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district was feared drowned in a canal in the Domana area on the outskirts of Jammu. He was travelling in a truck and decided to take a bath in the canal.—KMS
