The court asked the investigation officer (IO) whether the water samples from the seized tankers had been tested, to which the IO replied in the negative, adding that Karachi Water and Sewerage Board officials were not contacted for the tests either. Expressing annoyance over this, the court dismissed the case, commenting that the prosecution and investigation officer (IO) had failed to prove the allegations against the accused.
