LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued its operation against violation of building bylaws in Lahore.
On Tuesday, the LDA teams demolished seven buildings during operations against violation of bylaws in Johar Town and adjoining localities.
LDA teams also removed debris and temporary/permanent encroachments from different roads in the area.
LDA Director Town Planning Zone-IV Ali Nusrat supervised the operations which were carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against encroachments, violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
