Largest ever Employer’s delegation from Pakistan to attend ILC at Geneva

First time in history, a three-member employer’s delegation from Pakistan has been officially nominated as per summary approved by the Prime Minister, to attend the 11th session of the
‘Internal Labour Conference’ being held in Geneva from 27th May to 11th June 2022.

The official employer’s delegation to ILC will be led by Zaki Ahmed Khan, VP, Employer’s Federation of Pakistan (EFP) and Substitute member of the governing body of ILO, Ismail Suttar President EFP and Fasihul Karim Siddiqi, Senior Advisor, EFP will be its members.

“The delegation will attend the International Labour Conference which has on its agenda, among others, decision on important issues such as inclusion of OSH as FPRW, decent work and the social and solidarity economy, recruitment of migrant workers, post COVID economic revival and socio economic transformation of LDCs”.

The delegation will also attend the ILO expert’s committee meeting hearing long pending complaints. The Pakistani employer’s delegation will leave for Geneva on 26th May to attend the Conference.
