A large number of Afghan refugees in Karachi have started preparations to return to their country (Afghanistan) after the ongoing crackdown against Afghans living illegally in the city.
According to media reports, evacuation of people from other Afghan areas in the city including SohrabGoth, Super Highway Afghan Basti, Kochi Camp and Etihad Town began.
Afghan refugees along with their families are leaving for Afghanistan via Chaman by buses. In this regard, at Sohrab Goth bus station, a large number of Afghans left with their equipment to go back to Afghanistan in buses, while the bus fare from Karachi to ChamanBadr is being charged 7 thousand rupees.
It should be noted that a meeting of the Apex Committee of the National Action Plan was held under the chairmanship of caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan AnwarulHaqKakar on October 3 this month, after which the illegal immigrants were ordered to leave Pakistan by October 31, after which November 1. Federal and provincial law enforcement agencies will take all possible steps to ensure the arrest and forcible deportation of all illegally resident aliens.
From November 1, businesses and properties of illegally staying foreigners will be confiscated and strict action will be taken against those doing illegal business and their facilitators.
