LAHORE – Scattered rain-wind/thunderstorms are likely in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Monday evening/night and Tuesday.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a shallow westerly wave prevails over upper parts of Pakistan. Another westerly wave will likely approach western parts of the country on 24th April.
Under these conditions, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Murree, Galyat, Pothohar region, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Layyah, Bhakkar, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and surroundings on Monday evening/night.
On Tuesday, rain-wind/thunderstorms expected in Murree, Galyat, Lahore, Sialkot and Gujranwala during the day.
Lahore’s maximum temperatures will likely remain between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 33-35 C on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over most parts of the province during the last 24 hours. However, rain/thunderstorms occurred at isolated places.

Sahiwal remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 36 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 29 per cent.
In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 35 C. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 27 per cent.
