KW&SC takes special measures on Shab-e-Barat

Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) made special arrangements on the sacred night of Shab-e-Barat on Sunday. Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab gave special directives to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the KW&SC, Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed in this regard.

According to the spokesperson of the KW&SC the , water supply continued throughout the city, especially in the vicinity of Cemeteries, Shrines, Graveyards, and Mosques. On this occasion, the COO of the KWSC, Asadullah Khan, mentioned that water supply was ensured in cemeteries like Wadi-e-Hussain, Mewa Shah, Sakhī Hasan, Muhammad Shah Graveyard, New Karachi Graveyard, Liaquatabad, Khamosh Colony, Korangi and Shah Faisal Colony. Special arrangements were made for water supply through water tankers, and sabeels were installed for drinking water for citizens in cemeteries.
