Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) has joined forces with JazzCash, offering customers a hassle-free payment solution. The collaboration, unveiled at an event in Chairman Secretariat on Thursday, brings convenience to water bill payments across the city. Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, CEO of KWSC, spearheaded the announcement, emphasizing the corporation’s commitment to enhancing customer experience. Through KWSC’s Revenue Recovery Generation Department (RRG), the partnership with JazzCash was meticulously developed. With this initiative, KWSC customers gain the flexibility to settle their water bills via the JazzCash mobile app or at any of the 16,000 JazzCash retail branches citywide.
This advancement empowers customers to manage payments from the comfort of their homes, marking a significant convenience. The CEO of KWSC underscored the importance of timely bill payments, affirming that it enables the corporation to elevate service standards further. He expressed optimism about the partnership’s potential to bolster revenue and expand the customer base. ArifMehmoodChaudhry, Head of Public Sector Partnerships at JazzCash, commended the collaborative efforts led by Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed. He pledged to work closely to enhance facilities for Karachi’s residents, leveraging JazzCash’s extensive network of 44 million customers and 16,000 agents across the city. Additionally, JazzCash will send timely reminders to customers, ensuring they stay informed about upcoming bill payments.
