In connection with the celebration of Eid Milad-Ul-Nabi (PBUH) emergency is enforced in KW&SB. Orders are issued to KW&SB officers to take Effective measures for water supply & drainage across the city before the celebration of Eid Milad-Ul-Nabi (PBUH).
According to the details, on the special instructions of Minster Local Govt. Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and VC KW&SB Syed Najmi Alam, MD KW&SB Muhammad Rafiq Qureshi issued orders of emergency to the KW&SB officers to take special measures for the arrangements of the celebration of Eid Milad-Ul-Nabi (PBUH). He issued orders that effective measures should be taken for water supply & drainage throughout the city before the 12 Rabi-Ul-Awwal and by completely eliminating all complaints of drainage in Mosques, Madrassas, Monasteries, Shrines, Reception Camps, especially the Procession routes of Eid Milad-Ul-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) and to provide better facilities to the citizens by putting rings slabs & covers on all the open manholes so that Lovers of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) & citizens do not face any kind of problems.
MD KW&SB directed the SE’s of all the districts to visit the concerned districts to improve the water supply & drainage arrangements throughout the city during the month of Rabi-Ul- Awwal and to closely monitor the ongoing works.
MD KW&SB issued instructions to CE Water Muhammad Hanif Baloch, CE Sewerage Aftab Alam Chandio & Incharge Hydrant Cell Muhammad Azam Khan to contact the district administration, municipal administration, all related stakeholders especially Anjuman Ghulaman Mustafa, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek and the central leaders of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat should be fully cooperated.
