On the instructions of the Minister for Local Government and Chairman Karachi Water and Sewerage Board Nasir Hussain Shah, MD KWSB Assadullah Khan has issued orders to pay dues to the retired employees of the board.
According to the rules, payment of house building and motorcycle loan to the employees has also been completed as per the rules. According to the details, MD Water Board Assadullah Khan has taken over the charge of his post. Immediately after the relevant officers of the Water Board were issued orders to pay the dues to the retired employees of the organization.
In the light of these instructions, the Finance Department of the Water Board has started paying the dues to the retired employees. Rs. 17 crore has been paid in respect of dues.
In addition, as per the announcement made by MD Water Board, 100% levy has been paid to the employees of one to two grades while 3 to 5 grades have been paid. The full levy will be paid to the employees of the company on October 12.
It should be noted that due to the financial difficulties faced by the Water Board due to the epidemic of Corona, the employees of the company could not be paid the levy in Ramadan as per the rules.
After taking charge of the water board, the CBA has also completed the payment of motorcycle and house building loans to the employees of the agency.
