Kumak Pakistan, an NGO set out for Philanthropy, organized a theatre workshop for school students on the first day of Lyari Literature Festival 2019 at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Karachi.
The theater workshop comprised of three stages: introductory remarks to elaborate on theatre and its brief history, theater performances by the team consisting the art of monologues, impromptu and roleplays, followed with theatre acts by students in teams. Each phase with a brief interval to plan plots.
The students, having internalized the skills and lessons showcased and delivered, then actively and enthusiastically participated in the acts and realized their ‘artists within’ and planned their activities and plots within only moments for lay out.
