The University of Karachi under its Karachi University Assessment and Testing Service (KUATS) conducted a written test for the positions announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday. The 30-minute written test was conducted for the posts of driver and naib qasid at five different examination centers established on the campus.
The MoFA had received 699 applications for the post of driver and 2, 843 applications for the post of naib qasid. As many as 205 candidates for the drivers post and 1, 109 candidates for the post of naib qasid appeared in the written test. The test for the drivers started at 09:00 am and the test for naib qasid started at 10:00 am. The KUATS and the KU’s Watch and Ward staff were present to guide the candidates and medical staff along with the ambulances were also present on this occasion. The KUATS has been established with the approval of the varsity’s Academic Council, and this testing service is designed to facilitate public, semi-government, and private sectors and institutions to conduct written tests for admission and employment purposes.
