University of Karachi (KU) has announced an extension for the submission of PhD admission forms for the second intake in various departments. The new deadline is December 20, 2024, as per Professor Dr. Anila Amber Malik, Director of the Postgraduate Admission Committee. Interested candidates can download admission forms and fee vouchers from KU’s official website. Applicants must submit their forms along with a processing fee of Rs. 7500/- and required documents to the respective departments.
The fee can be deposited at the designate bank located at the university’s Silver Jubilee Gate. December 25, 2024: List of eligible candidates for the admission test will be available on KU’s website. December 26, 2024: Admit cards can be collected from the relevant departments, centers, or institutes. December 29, 2024: The admission test will take place at 10:00 am. Candidates must bring their original ID card and admit card and arrive at least 30 minutes before the test. January 5, 2025: Results of successful candidates will be published on the website.
Students with degrees from private or foreign institutions recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) are required to obtain an equivalence certificate from KU’s Deputy Registrar (Academic) before receiving provisional admission.
