K-Electric (KE) has intensified its efforts to secure its network and improve reliability by tackling power theft across its service area. Since the start of FY24 in July 2023, KE has executed nearly 30,000 operations, successfully removing more than 330,000 kg of illegal “kunda” wires that were tapping into the power supply and damaging infrastructure.
