K-Electric has reaffirmed its commitment to public safety by providing comprehensive emergency response training to 150 frontline workers from key organizations. The training, which includes CPR and emergency response techniques, was conducted for teams from Ambulance Service – Rescue 1122, Chippa, Saylani Welfare Trust, Al-Mustafa, and PALS Rescue. In addition to the training, K-Electric distributed 800 sets of rain safety gear to various civic and welfare organizations, including the Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC).
These initiatives are part of K-Electric’s ongoing efforts to ensure that emergency workers are well-prepared to handle the challenges posed by the monsoon season. The emergency response and CPR training sessions were conducted in collaboration with the Pakistan Red Crescent Society and included participants from several social organizations and the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB).
K-Electric’s proactive approach aims to enhance the preparedness of frontline workers and ensure effective management of any monsoon-related emergencies.
