Srinagar
In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Social Forum Chairman, Umar Aadil Dar, has said that the unresolved Kashmir dispute posed serious threat to the regional and global peace.
Umar Aadil Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that if the Kashmir dispute remained unresolved it might lead to the biggest human catastrophe in the world. He said Kashmir is not merely a territorial dispute between the two neighbouring countries but an issue pertaining to the future of millions of Kashmiris.
Umar Aadil Dar said that sane, sincere and visionary Indians were well aware of the fact that the use of military might by New Delhi in IIOJK during the past over seven decades had yielded nothing other than death and destruction.
He also expressed serious concern over the explosive situation in Ladakh developed due to severe stand-off between Chinese and Indian armies.
Umar Aadil Dar appealed the global community to come forward and raise their voice to save the Kashmiris from Indian state terrorism and impress upon New Delhi to shun militaristic mindset and adopt a political approach to resolve the Kashmir dispute.—KMS
