Sindh capital Karachi witnessed a drop in temperature in recent days as winds from the southwest swept through the city, and the metropolis is expected to receive showers in the coming days.

Weather experts said Karachi and adjoining areas will receive showers during the next two to three days.

As the temperature is likely to hover around 12°C at night, during the day the mercury remained above 20.

Pakistan Meteorological Department said mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province, while Partly cloudy in Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas.

Fog/smog is likely to persist in Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Lahore, Hafizabad, Bhakkar, Layyah, D.G Khan and surroundings.
