Karachi experienced its first rainfall of the winter season early Saturday morning, with light drizzle reported in several areas. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted partly cloudy weather in the evening, while weather expert Owais Hyder has indicated the possibility of additional light drizzle in some parts of the city.

Drizzle was observed across numerous locations, including Sharea Faisal, Karsaz, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Federal B Area, MA Jinnah Road, Numaish Chowrangi, Guru Mandir, Dalmia, Shanti Nagar, Scheme 33, University Road, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Baldia Town, Orangi Town, and North Nazimabad. Additionally, light rain was recorded in Hub Chowki and Surjani.

The PMD’s forecast suggests that this wet spell will contribute to the cold weather, with temperatures expected to drop further due to the prevailing westerly winds. In another development, Quetta also experienced its first snowfall of the season, marking a significant change in the weather across the region.
