Karachi officials visit Diabetic Centre Islamabad

A team of the senior officers of the Karachi administration including Assistant Commissioner Abid Qamar Sheikh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Karachi East Umaima Solangi, Project Manager Muhammad Aftab Ahmad, Liaison Officer for Smoke-Free Karachi, Sehrish Farooq, District Coordinator East Bilal Zafar, District Coordinator South, Mr. Tanveer Qaimkhani, Senior District Coordinator for Tobacco Control Ministry of Health Ikram Wani visited The Diabetes Centre in Islamabad.

The delegation was warmly welcomed on arrival. They took a round of various sections of the hospital, its departments and were briefed about the services it has been rendering for the patients from not only the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi but across the country.

They visited Eye Care, Pedo Scan and Laboratory and visitors expressed satisfaction over the treatment and facilities provided by TDC.

The head of the delegation said that TDC is one of the largest hospitals in Pakistan for the best treatment against diabetes. He assured that the Civil Administration of Karachi would like to implement joint venture projects with TDC.
