A beauty parlour in commercial area of Karachi city saw chaotic scenes as dispute between female Deputy Commissioner from the Revenue Department and the staff at a beauty salon turned violent.
The dispute started over staffer of beauty salon’s refusal to show packaging of hair dye. The confrontation escalated into physical altercation, and during the incident owner of the salon opened gunfire, injuring security guard of Deputy Commissioner’s brother.
After the incident, a case was filed at the Derakhshan police station by Deputy Commissioner Sania Sheikh, leading to the arrest of the salon owner.
The female DC told parlour staff to see hair dye packaging. The argument intensified, resulting in a brawl when the staff refused to comply. The Deputy Commissioner subsequently called the police.
Karachi police later intervened and took both parties to local station. A formal complaint was them lodged, saying DC’s brother entered salon with security guards to check on his sisters, but the salon owner fired at them, injuring the security guard.
The guard who received bullet injury is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital.
