Chairman Pak Sarzamin Party Mustafa Kamal was given a hearty welcome by Scheme-33 residents on arrival in the area on Sunday. They chanted slogans in u of PSP and showered flower petals on te party chief.
Party President Anis Qaim Khani, members of the Central Executive Committee, National Council and officials of Scheme 33 were also present. Kamal in his address said Karachi has reached a point where it will have to take drastic steps to rectify it.
“If the six points of the Pak Sarzameen Party are not implemented, it is feared that matters will get out of everyone’s hands.”
He said Karachi is full of problems that need to be addressed and added that reforms in the country have been seen as a matter of political interest.
“Local bodies’ elections are not being held in Punjab due to strong political opponents. The negative effects of the lack of an effective local government system are being felt across the country.” Kamal said the people are already in the throes of inflation. The increase in the prices of medicines is a cruel step of the government.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan should take notice of the increase in the prices of medicines. The prices of life saving medicines have been increased by 300%.
