Central General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (Women Wing) Durdana Siddiqui addressing a press conference at Idara-e-Noor-e-Haq on Wednesday said that large scale activities will be organized in the 10th Ashra-e-Hijab under the theme “Shame and Hijab, Protection and Mercy.” She said culture of modesty and hijab should be popularized, dignity and security of working women should be ensured at their places of work. “Shame and humiliation should not be spread in advertisements and dramas and insult to women should be stopped.” The JI leader said all factors that lead society astray should be eradicate and curriculum should be formulated in such a way that boys and girls can be nurtured with modesty from an early age. International Hijab Webinar will be organized on Zoom, “Seminars, conferences and discussion forums will be held in major cities. Women members of National and Provincial Assemblies will be invited to these gatherings.
