Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Monem Zafar Khan reaffirmed his party’s dedication to empowering the youth of Karachi through education and employment opportunities. Speaking at an aptitude test event for the BanoQabil program in the Malir area, Zafar emphasized the critical role of youth in the future of the nation and urged them to avoid the pitfalls of negativity and hopelessness. Addressing thousands of BanoQabil aspirants, Zafar told the audience that negativity could ruin their potential and urged them to focus on positivity and self-belief.
He described the BanoQabil program as a beacon of hope, offering valuable opportunities to the youth amid challenging circumstances.
Zafar shared impressive statistics to demonstrate the program’s success. He noted that over 125,000 students had enrolled in the BanoQabil 4.0 initiative, with more than 50,000 graduates already engaged in employment, self-employment, or e-business ventures.
He highlighted the significance of this program in tackling the youth unemployment crisis in Karachi and beyond. The JI leader also pointed out the enhancement of the BanoQabil program, which now offers 28 Information Technology-based courses across 55 centers in the city.
This expansion aims to equip youth with essential skills for the modern job market. Furthermore, the program has introduced a job portal—BanoQabil.job—which helps graduates connect with potential employers. Monem Zafar also criticized the government’s failure to provide quality education and employment opportunities to the youth, attributing this to the shortcomings of previous regimes.
He stressed that it is the government’s responsibility to support youth development, and he promised that Jamaat-e-Islami would work tirelessly to change the future of the nation with the help of the youth. Zafar encouraged the participants to stay focused on their goals and use the opportunities provided by the BanoQabil program to build a better future for themselves and the country.
