Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Ameer Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman advocated for a unified education system, emphasizing the need for one system, one standard, and one syllabus for all 250 million Pakistanis. Addressing thousands of students participating in the BanoQabil 4.0 aptitude test in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, he argued that the country’s youth, who make up a significant portion of the population, should focus on learning emerging skills to harness their potential.
Rehman highlighted the importance of the Information Technology (IT) sector and described the BanoQabil initiative as a transformative program, with over 48,000 students having already completed its courses. To further support these graduates, he announced the distribution of 10,000 laptops in the first phase based on performance. Rehman also urged Karachi’s youth to focus on their rights and challenge corrupt leadership. Dr. Ishrat Hussain, an educationist, emphasized the importance of skills over degrees for success in the IT sector and encouraged the youth to make the most of BanoQabil.
Naveed Ali Baig, CEO of Alkhidmat, announced that two incubators had already been established in Karachi to assist BanoQabil graduates in launching their careers.
