President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, bid farewell to Pakistan today as he departed from Karachi airport following his three-day official visit. Accompanied by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Federal Minister RiazHussainPirzada, President Raisi and his delegation were seen off at the Karachi airport.
During his visit, President Raisi reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Pakistan. Addressing a sizable audience at a ceremony held in his honor at the Chief Minister House in Karachi, he emphasized the importance of joint efforts to strengthen political, economic, commercial, and cultural ties for the mutual development and prosperity of both nations.
Dr. SeyyedEbrahimRaisi highlighted Iran’s advancements in industry, science, and technology, expressing readiness to share expertise and collaborate with Pakistan in these areas.
He also pledged to address trade barriers between the two countries, signaling a desire for smoother economic cooperation. As President Raisi concluded his visit, the commitment to fostering closer ties between Iran and Pakistan remains a pivotal aspect of regional cooperation and development.
