Punjab Healthcare Commission Chairperson Prof Dr Atiya Mubarak said that controlling the infection is not a difficult task and it is necessary to work with as much awareness and teamwork.
She was the chief guest at the infection-free week ceremony at Lahore General Hospital. The purpose of the event was to create awareness among the people and to provide an infection free environment in hospitals. LGH has set up a comprehensive plan for promoting infection-free culture, which will utilise the services of all stakeholders so that 2020 can be celebrated as an infection-free year at the General Hospital.
