Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two innocent Kashmiri youth in Kupwara district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth during a fake encounter in the garb of cordon and search operation in Machil area of the district.
The troops have martyred many youth in such staged gunbattles in the past when they arrested innocent Kashmiris from different areas of occupied Kashmir, took them to near the Line of Control and martyred them in staged encounters for promotions, awards and cash rewards. Such actions were aimed at defaming the Kashmiris’ freedom movement as a trrrorist movement and maligning Pakistan for sending militants to IIOJK. The Pathribal, Machil and Amshipora fake encounters expose this heinous crime by the Indian troops.
In March 2020, Indian soldiers had martyred five innocent Kashmiris in Pathribal area of Islamabad district on the eve of the-then US President, Bill Clinton’s visit to India, and labeled them as foreign militants. However, later it came to fore that the victims were innocent civilians who were killed by the troops in cold blood. The troops had martyred two porters in Machil area of Kupwara in 2010 in the same manner. Indian troops had martyred three innocent labourers from Rajouri district of Jammu region in Ramshipora area of Shopian district in a similar incident in July 2020.
