Indian forces’ personnel demolished a building of religious seminary, Darul Uloom, in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the forces demolished the building of the madrassa in Chewa Kalan area of the district.
In March 2022, Indian troops had martyred two youth in the same building . An Indian police official told media that the brutal action was taken on the recommendations of India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The NIA had also arrested administrators of the Darul Uloom who are still under police custody.
Meanwhile, The Income Tax department of India continued to raid on the second day, today, at various places in the Kashmir valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Income tax department along with Indian forces raided different business centers in Srinagar, Sopore, Ganderbal, Pulwama and Budgam areas.
Earlier on Monday, the department raided Arco textile (DTA) Dawar Textile Agency at Lal-Mandi Srinagar owned by Jameel Aiman, a resident of Sopore A/P Shah Anwar Colony Hyderpora in Srinagar.
Another team headed by Hindutva RSS/BJP officer Sudeep Dabas raided Kashmir Glass industry owned by Adil Magray and Modern Steel owned by Nisar Ahmad.
In Sopore, the sleuths of the Income Tax department raided the residence of Javid Ahmad Aiman of Arco business group.
An official also confirmed the raids and said searches are being conducted since morning and details of which will be shared after the conclusion of all searches.
He added that cash, investment and other documents have also been seized during the ongoing raids. The official added that nearly two crore cash was also recovered dur ing raids at Shah Anwar Colony Hyderpora in Srinagar.—KMS
