Demonstrating its bias against Kashmiris, an Indian court has dismissed a petition seeking to quash a first information report (FIR) registered against a young Kashmiri professor over his WhatsApp status.
A Division Bench of the Bombay High Court comprising Justices Sunil Shukre and MM Sathaye refused to quash the FIR against the Kashmiri pro-fessor.
A professor at the Kolhapur College in the Indian state of Maharashtra, Javed Ahmed Hajam, was booked after he termed the abrogation of Article 370 as a “black day” for Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in his WhatsApp status.—KMS
