Implementation of anti-dengue measures stressed

Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad has directed the officers and officials of different departments to ensure the implementation of anti-dengue measures for containing the spread of dengue fever and play their ideal role in society to clean surroundings of government entities and to ensure that water could not stand at rooftops and lawns.

While addressing a meeting of district heads of all departments held to review the anti-dengue campaign underway in the district, she directed the officers to continue the campaign to create awareness among people regarding the implementation on dengue prevention measures in the district with the passion of serving the nation. She also directed the officers to deliver special lectures to persuade students to act upon anti-dengue prevention instructions in their localities. While giving a briefing to the meeting, DHO Health Dr. Zaheer Ahmad told that special teams of health department were buy in indoor and outdoor activities to stop growth of dengue mosquito in the district.—BASHIR AHMAD REHMANI
