Imam KaabaFazila Al-Sheikh Dr. Saleh Bin Humaid met Chairman Central Ruyat-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan/Khatib and Imam Badshahi Masjid Lahore, Ambassador of Peace and Unity Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad.
Both dignitaries discuss the unity of the Ummah and matters of mutual interest. On this occasion, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki, MaulanaShamsulHaq, Dr. Zafarullah Jan and others were present. Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad said that Imam Kaaba Fazilat Al-Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaidd visit to Pakistan is a matter of honor and pride for us and our nation. He said,”the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are higher than the Himalayas. We salute them for always supporting Pakistan openly in every hour of trial. Saudi Arabia is the trusted country of the leadership of the Islamic Ummah. The bold stand he presented in connection with Palestine is the interpretation of the entire Islamic Ummah. Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad said that the role of Mihrab o Minbar and Imam is very important which should be increased through religious harmony and tolerance. Imam of the Kaaba Fazillah Al-Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaid said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are good friends. He said that the role of the Ummah’s scholars is important in the society. Imam KaabaFazila Al-Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaid appreciated Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad’s day and night services regarding the unity of the Ummah and the sighting of the crescent moon and said that the great services of his late father Maulana Dr. Syed Muhammad Abdul Qadir Azad for the unity of the Ummah.
