IIUI reviews mechanism of fee collection

A meeting to review the mechanism of the fee collection, facilitation of students and parents, identification and suspension of the fee defaulters and to explore ways for smooth financial accessibility was held here at the council hall of the new of campus of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) that was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani, Vice President, Administration and Finance.

It was also attended by the university’s Vice President Academics, Professor Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Director Academics, Director Finance, Students’ Advisor female campus, members of the offices of admission, examination and IT including other relevant officials. The committee agreed that facilitation of the students and parents in fee deposit shall be top priority. The meeting also discussed ways to facilitate students and the parents with flawless banking. It was agreed the fee deposit system shall be made easier and any complaints in this regard shall be addressed on priority basis.

It was decided in the meeting that the registration date for the students that has already been conveyed by the Director Academics shall be extended till March 03. It was also agreed by the house that the Fee section shall prepare a list of the defaulters who have not paid fee that shall be displayed on university website and other relevant platforms with a deadline of March 10. The house decided that after 10th of March, all the defaulters present in the list shall be suspended. The chair also endorsed the suggestion of the house that no students shall be allowed on a provisional basis to continue the semester without clearing the dues. It was also decided that sponsoring agencies shall be conveyed to address the pending dues of the students of their panel so that their admission may be secured in future.
