IIOJK HC quashes black law PSA against two persons, orders release

Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court has ordered the release of two persons while quashing their detention under the black law Public Safety Act (PSA).

According to Kashmir Media Service, allowing their separately filed habeas corpus petitions, a bench of Justice Sanjay Dhar quashed the detention of Shabir Ahmad Ganie and Imtiyaz Ahmad Chikla.

The court directed their release from custody.

Meanwhile, police detained a burglar Mudasir Ahmad Mir under the black law Public Safety Act (PSA) and sent him to Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu.
