In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court has directed the authorities to ensure that a 19-year-old illegally detained student from Bandipora district appears in examination starting from, tomorrow (19 October).
The student Wasim Ahmed Malik, a regular BSc 3rd Semester student at Degree College Bandipora, was arrested by Indian police on September 19, this year, on false charges. After his arrest, he booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act, shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.
The court of Justice Sanjeev Kumar while hearing the case directed the Superintendent of the Kot Bhalwal jail to ensure the student’s appearance in examination.—KMS
