Humanitarian Icon Ansar Burney introduced his autobiography ‘Awaaz,’ co-authored by Shehar Bano Rizvi and Tasneem Premjee Chamdia, offering a compelling narrative of his journey from student leader to global human rights champion.

The memoir delves into Burney’s experiences, including his transformative time in Pakistani prisons, founding of the Ansar Burney Trust, and collaborations with leaders like Zia-ul-Haq and Pervez Musharraf, resulting in the release of numerous prisoners. Reflecting on over 250 awards received, Burney acknowledges the divine guidance behind his humanitarian efforts and expresses gratitude for the collaborative writing process with his co-authors.
