Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail over most plain areas of the country during the next twenty-four hours. However, partly cloudy weather conditions with isolated rain-wind/thunderstorm may occur in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

Temperature of major cities recorded on Saturday morning. Islamabad and Muzafarabad twenty-three degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-seven, Karachi twenty-nine, Peshawar twenty-five, Quetta twenty-one, Gilgit and Murree nineteen degree centigrade.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain with thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Baramula and Shopian, while hot and dry weather with chances of windstorm and thunderstorm with isolated rain in Jammu.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar fifteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-seven, Leh eight, Pulwama and Anantnag seventeen, Shopian eighteen and Baramula sixteen degree centigrade.—INP
