The Punjab Government has decided to celebrate the week starting Monday, as “Hafta-e-Shane Rehmatul Lil-Alameen” across the province. The government has decided to celebrate he week to highlight various aspects of Seeratun Nabi (SAWW), in the wake of caricatures drawn by French artist, which has hurt feelings of the entire Muslim Ummah. The government says that it is our moral obligation to pay homage to Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) and to glorify His personality and teachings to answer the people who commit such blasphemous acts. The Punjab government has organized functions throughout the province, engaging all walks of life for this noble cause. The programs include Naatiya Mushaira, Mehafil-e-Samaa, declamations, exhibitions special plays etc. to highlight Uswa-e-Hasana of the great Reformer whose personality did away with darkness in the entire universe.
To this end, a detailed program of activities has been chalked out for the provincial capital and on Monday, a conference was organized under the auspices of Mashaikh-e-Azam Pakistan at the residence of Pir Muhammad Rashid Naqshbandi. The conference was chaired by Sahibzada Pir Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui, Central Leader of Mashaikh-e-Azam Pakistan and Provincial President of Pakistan Muslim Alliance. While Pir Akhtar Rasool Qadri, Allama Mufti Muhammad Bilal, Allama Qari Muhammad Hanif, Pir Muhammad Junaid Ahmad Naqshbandi, Pir Syed Ahmad Nadeem Shah, Pir Muhammad Ramzan Naqshbandi, Pir Syed Adnan Akram, Pir Haji Muhammad Iftikhar, Pir Muhammad Tahir Naqshbandi, Pir Sabah A large number of lovers of Mustafa (PBUH) including Mahmood, Syed Imran Shah, Mirza Ehsan Naqshbandi were present.
Addressing the participants of the conference, Sahibzada Pir Shabbir Ahmed Siddiqui, the central leader of Mashaikh-e-Azaam Pakistan, said that our body and mind are all sacrificed for the sanctity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The sketchers of the Holy Prophet (sws) will continue to be humiliated and disgraced. He said that the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is worth mentioning, which no one can underestimate. Sahibzada Pir Akhtar Rasool Qadri said that we have put shrouds on our heads to defend the sanctity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Pir Mohammad Rashid Naqshbandi said that the publication of the sketches hurt the heart of the Muslim Ummah and broke the face of anti-Islamic forces. The unity of the Muslim Ummah is essential to answer. Pir Syed Adnan Akram, Pir Ahmad Nadeem Shah, Pir Haji Muhammad Iftikhar Naqshbandi and others also addressed the conference and strongly condemned the insulting sketches. Speakers on the occasion also condemned the ill-treatment of Member Provincial Assembly Sahibzada Pir Jalil Ahmad Sharqpuri. A special prayer for national security was also offered at the end of the conference.
